We aim our best to offer you the appointments and phone access that should suit our patient demands and match their needs.
We have reviewed our National Patient Survey results and also internal surveys. We have also consulted our patient group and have agreed the some changes to our appointment system listed below;
1- We have added some extra slots to be booked on line from 9am every day. These slots will be bookable via online from 9am on first come first served basis. These slots will be used by the staff if not booked by 9:30am so these are not get wasted.
2- We will carry on encouraging patients to sign up and book and online so it frees phone lines. At present nearly 34% of our patients are signed up to use our online services.
3- We will aim to answer our phone calls as quickly as possible especially in the busy hours.
4- We will do a short patient survey in 3 months time to see the impact of these changes and measure outcome.
We aim to improve our phone access and appointment system to the better reflect our patient needs.
